C-45 Grade Introduction:The range of products of C45 Block which we offer to our customers are of high quality and these Block are used for making machineries and OEM Auto components. These products have been made keeping in mind the quality parameters which have been set by the industry in the market. C45 Steel Block are always Supplied with the test certificates and can be supplied in bulk quantity as well as retail quantity as per customers requirements. C45 Block are supplied by us to various engineering and forging industries. AISI C45 steel is medium tensile steel supplied in the black hot rolled or normalized condition. It has Brinell hardness ranging between 170 and 210 and tensile strength of 570 – 700 MPa. AISI C45 steel has good machinability, good weldability, and high strength and impact properties in either the normalized or hot rolled condition. C45 steel has a low through-hardening capability with only sections of size around 60 mm being recommended as suitable for tempering and through-hardening. However, it can be efficiently flame or induction hardened in the normalized or hot rolled condition to obtain surface hardnesses in the range of Rc 54 – Rc 60 based on factors such as section size, type of set up, quenching medium used etc. C-45 Grade Application:DIN C45 round bar steel material and steel plate C45, flats are widely used in all industry for uses which require more strength and wear resistance than the low carbon mild steel.Quenched and subsequently tempered steel for C45 steel grade Block, Steel plate, flat and square is used for axles, bolts, forged connecting rods, crankshafts, torsion bars, light gears, guide rods, screws, forgings, wheel tyres, shafts, sickles, axes, knives, wood working drills, hammers, etc. C-45 Equivalent grades:

H-13 Grade Introduction:H13 Tool Steel is a versatile chromium-molybdenum hot work steel that is widely used in hot work and cold work tooling applications. The hot hardness (hot strength) of H13 resists thermal fatigue cracking which occurs as a result of cyclic heating and cooling cycles in hot work tooling applications. Because of its excellent combination of high toughness and resistance to thermal fatigue cracking (also known as heat checking) H13 is used for more hot work tooling applications than any other tool steel. Because of its high toughness and very good stability in heat treatment, H13 is also used in a variety of cold work tooling applications. In these applications, H13 provides better hardenability (through hardening in large section thicknesses) and better wear resistance than common alloy steels such as 4140. P-20+Ni Grade Introduction:DIN 1.2738 steel is one kind of plastic mold steel, equivalent to AISI P20+Ni Tool Steel. While Nickel, chromium, and molybdenum are the alloying elements for hardness and toughness. 1.2738 tool steel is specially designed for the plastic mold industry, especially for big steel mold parts.
- DIN 1.2738 tool steel is usually supplied as pre-hardened/quenched and tempered 280 – 320 HB hardness condition.
- With good machinability, DIN 1.2738 steels are with better polishability compared to 1.2312 (AISI P20+S).
- Material 1.2738 can be through nitrogenation and flame hardening treatment in order to increase the hardness and wearability of the mold surface.
